Today, Safyre & Khepri's 1/2 sister, Montana, was presented to ISR/Oldenburg N.A. for breeding approved.
She earned a 102 points!!  Montana is a 2008 silver black Quarter Horse / Draft cross by our former brown silver AQHA & NFQHA stallion, Champs Guthrie.

Khepri - 105 points - PREMIUM!! (Champs Guthrie x Duchess Dancer) 
Safyre - 102 points (Champs Guthrie x Rockville Centre)
Montana - 102 points (Champs Guthrie x Piper)

Plus Safyre had her first foal this year who went Premium and was the Site Champion!

Today we presented Sachi for registration and Khepri for breeding approval.

Sachi earned her Premium Foal Award, was the High Scoring Foal & Site Champion!!!   She earned an 8.2,  8.0,  8.2  for an overall 8.1 score.   Khepri earned 105 points which is a Premium score!

We are so thrilled !!!  Sachi is Safyre's 1st foal so to go Premium is awesome!  Also she is a 2nd generation foal for us.  On top of that it really speaks to the quality of our former & late stallion, Champs Guthrie.  One daughter, Khepri, goes Premium.  The other, Safyre, scores a 102 last year. just missing Premium by 3 points and his Granddaughter is a Premium Foal & Site Champion! 

Today a good friend of ours, Talia Chaffee of Silver Spring Farm, lost her buckskin silver APHA mare, Stars Angel Too, to colic.  Angel was the foundation and start of the silver APHA horses.  She was 21 years old and had a a 2-1/2 month old palomino filly at her side by our homebred silver AQHA colt, Andretti MVF.  Unfortunately, the palomino filly didn't get the silver gene.

There are only about 5 or 6 known & confirmed silver in the world.  We are so grateful to Talia & Angel for their contributions to the silver APHA.
