Sir Gregory

16.2 h.h. Chestnut Oldenburg Stallion
Sir Donnerhall  x  Don Gregory  x  Picasso

From Sir Gregory's website -  Dreamscape Farm

Sir Gregory was the winner of his 30 day test at Neustadt/Dosse as a 3 year old.  He earned high scores in the following categories  -  Interior  9.25  (Temperament, character, conformation),  Walk 8.50,  Trot 9.38,  Canter 8.75,  Rideabilty 9.38,  Jumping Ability 8.00  which gave him the high overall score of 8.85, highest score in the dressage phase of 9.08, and the very good score of 8.35 in the jumping phase.

Sir Gregory's sire Sir Donnerhall was the 2nd reserve champion at the Oldenburg stallion licensing in 2003, he then went on to win his 70 day test at Adelheidsdorf in 2005 with a dressage index of 163.  In 2005 Sir Donnerhall was named the "Hauptprämien" champion in Oldenburg. In 2006 Sir Donnerhall was the reserve champion at the 2006 World Championships for young dressage horse in Verden, and then was the Bundeschampion for 5 year olds dressage horses in Warendorf, Germany.  In 2008 Sir Donnerhall had the highest index of dressage stallions with 182 points.

Sir Gregory's dam Premiere is also the dam of two State Premium mares, a 2004 approved stallion Don Romio, following Sir Gregory, Premiere has gone on to produce a 2008 licensed stallion sired by Sandro Hit who was also the second highest selling dressage stallion at the stallion auction following the licensing in Oldenburg (second only to the dressage licensing champion).  Premiere's sire is the successful Grand Prix dressage stallion Don Gregory.  Don Gregory was not only a successful dressage competitor but is also a highly sought after sire, he has sired numerous licensed sons, champion stallions, State Premium, Brilliantring and Champion mares, top auction horses, Bundeschampions and World Champions.  In the damline we also find the stallion Picasso who was trained to advanced level dressage, and the top hanoverian stallion Graphit.  There are also approved stallions from this dam line including Don Graphit, Playboy, San Gregory, as well as numerous premium mares and successful performance horses.

Sir Gregory is a very modern type stallion, of striking good-looks, with a beautiful head and neck. He has very correct conformation, his gaits are powerful, with a lot of elasticity, very good use of the hind leg, and he already shows a very good ability to collect.  Sir Gregory also has a very good temperament, he is kind, smart and learns quickly, this goes hand and hand with his high rideability.

Safyre

2008 Brown Silver Appendix Mare
Champs Guthrie  x  Native Prospector  x  Mickey McGuire

Safyre's sire, Champs Guthrie, comes from foundation lines that have been bred to have phenomenal temperaments and trainability, as well, as athletic ability which allows him to sit and lift and naturally round and use his whole body.  Three of his daughters have been approved for warmblood breeding.  All come from very different dams but all scored in a similar fashion.  Chanel (formerly Khepri TDS)  earned a score of 105 points which is a Premium score.  Safyre and Montana TDS both received 102 point scores.  Just a couple points shy of Premium.  All of the mares have has warmblood foals now.  Safyre had Sachi in 2012, who was Site Champion & a Premium Awarded filly.  Chanel had a Premium Awarded colt in 2016.  Montana had a filly but due to a pasture injury wasn't scored.

Safyre's dam, Rockville Centre, is a newly approved (2018) Premium GOV mare.  At 21 years of age she received an overall 8.0 for breeding approval.  Not bad for an aged Thoroughbred mare!  Her pedigree is full of versatile and proven sport horses for Racing and the English disciplines thru TV Lark, Carlemont, Mr. Prospector and Nashua.  TV Lark has produced eventers & jumpers, such as, TV Commercial and he is in the pedigree of Amy Tryon’s event horse Poggio II.  Carlemont had a son, Forseti xx, who was used in SF breeding. His SF daughters have produced a CSIO show jumper and a CSI 2* jumper as well as a couple of event horses, one of whom finished 5th this year in a CCI2*.  Carlemont's whole pedigree screams sport horse.  Charlottesville is one of the best lines for jumping TBs. He's found in a lot of chasers and has about 20 get with descendants on a database for FEI competitions.  Mr. Prospector has produced several eventing horses or producers: Fappiano - USEF leading sire of Event horses 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006; Gone West - Eventing / Hunter sire;  Inca Chief - Eventing / Steeplechase;  Grandsire of Becky Holder's Olympic mount Courageous Comet.  Nashua has produced:  Diplomat Way - Hunter sire

Rockville Centre's daughter, Rockville Tizzy, is a resident broodmare at U.C Davis.  She has been with them for several years producing warmblood foals.

Behind the Name

Sachi is Japanese and means 'Child of Happiness', 'Source of Joy' and/or 'Colorful Wisdom'.
It also plays into our farm theme names i.e. Safyre = Sacred (Sa) Fire (Fyre).   Sachi = Sacred (Sa)  Chi (Energy).
