Milk is pearly white and calcium is reading between 300-350 ppm.  Safyre should be foaling soon!

Our homebred colt/stallion, Andretti MVF, owned by Talia Chaffee of Silver Spring Farm welcomes Andretti's 2nd foal.  A silver tobiano colt was born April, 29, 2012!  Talia thinks he is a black silver but his color is so odd she isn't sure.  Hair has been sent in for testing.  This colt is the 5th confirmed APHA silver dapple in the World!  Varzea, Andretti's, a silver minimals overo was born last year on Talia's farm was the 4th confirmed silver APHA.  We are so proud of the quality and contribution to silver that Talia & Andretti have made.

Safyre is 326 days in-foal today!  Milk calcium reading is about 200-225 ppm.  Within the next few days we should have a new addition!

Safyre is at 324 days today.  She continues to make progress toward foaling.  Milk is looking more white and feels more silky.  Can hardly wait to see her Sir Gregory baby!

Khepri and I had a little photo shoot with khepri today.  I am really liking how she is coming along and maturing!  Just wish the ground would dry up so I could really get her going under saddle.

Her milk is yellow, more cloudy and sticky!  The calcium is just beginning to register with Chemetrics test.

Teats are filling in more.  Fluid is thinner, clear, yellow and very sticky!  She continues to sleep about every 3 hours, flick her tail and rub her butt against the wall.

Just 35 days until her "due date" May 14, 2012!  
Can't wait to see Safyre's foal by Sir Gregory!!!
