Sachi arrived May 1, 2012 at 5:55 am. She was quite interactive and talkative right off the bat! She has been very active, received a clean bill of health from the vet and had a great IgG score so she got all her antibodies from her dam.
Her name is Japanese and means 'Child of Happiness', 'Source of Joy' and/or 'Colorful Wisdom'. It also plays into our farm theme names i.e. Safyre = Sacred (Sa) Fire (Fyre). Sachi = Sacred (Sa) Chi (Energy). Sachi is unfolding beautifully. She loves to canter and gallop. She is very light and lofty in her movments. Sachi's conformation is nearly flawless. We are very pleased with the comments we are receiving about her. Below are a few of them. |

Sir Gregory
Sachi's sire, Sir Gregory, is a brilliant son of champion stallion Sir Donnerhall, and out of a very strong dam line. Sir Gregory was a crowd favorite at his 2007 stallion licensing in Oldenburg, with his beautiful looks, super type, correct conformation, outstanding movement and very good jump.
As a 3 year old Sir Gregory was the convincing winner of his 30 day test at Neustadt/Dosse with very high scores in every category: 9.25 - Interior (Temperament,character,conformation),
8.50 - Walk, 9.38 - Trot, 8.75 - Canter, 9.38 - Rideabilty, and 8.00 - Jumping Ability, which gave him the high overall score of 8.85, highest score in the dressage phase of 9.08, and the very good score of 8.35 in the jumping phase.
Sir Gregory is a very modern type stallion, of striking good-looks, with a beautiful head and neck. He has very correct conformation, his gaits are powerful, with a lot of elasticity, very good use of the hind leg, and he already shows a very good ability to collect. Sir Gregory also has a very good temperament, he is kind, smart and learns quickly, this goes hand and hand with his high rideability.

Safyre
Safyre, Sachi's dam, is a rare brown silver dapple Thoroughbred cross mare. She was presented and approved by ISR/Oldenburg NA as a young 3 year old scoring 102 pts. She earned 8 for her walk and several 7’s some of which included 7 for correctness of gaits, 7 for breed & type, 7 for overall development.
Safyre comes from a sport horse proven TB pedigree thru TV Lark, Carlemont, Mr. Prospector and Nashua.
TV LARK has produced eventers & jumpers, such as, TV Commercial and he is in the pedigree of Amy Tryon’s event horse Poggio II.
CARLEMONT had a son, Forseti xx, who was used in SF breeding. His SF daughters have produced a CSIO show jumper and a CSI 2* jumper as well as a couple of event horses, one of whom finished 5th this year in a CCI2*. Carlemont's whole pedigree screams sport horse.
CHARLOTTESVILLE is one of the best lines for jumping TBs. He's found in a lot of chasers and has about 20 get with descendants on a database for FEI competitions.
